My name is Jonathan Livingstone, and I am a third-year student studying Computer Games Technology BSc. which is approved by Skillset, the Sector Skills Council for the Audio Visual Industries in the UK, at the University West of Scotland in Paisley.

I focus most of my programming on C and C++, usually with OpenGfor cross-platform rendering. I normally use the Windows API or X11 for Native Windowing, Threading, and other OS features.

I also have Industry Experiencehaving spent three months working for IES using C++.

While focusing on C and C++, I have also used other languages like JavaC#HTML, and JavaScript.

My career goal it to become a Low-Level Game Engine Programmer. A link to my all my Bitbucket repositories can be found here.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on include FrozenAshley the Ostrich, Who Says Chicken’s Can’t Fly!?Cityscape, Project Drunk, Machines, Lander, and Poochie The Dog.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing my Guitar and Piano; and Writing Short-Stories. I was awarded the Elizabeth Leggett Award for Creative Writing for a short story I did called The Visitor.
